Careers

Whether students are thinking of employment, apprenticeships or going to university, the college provides high quality careers support and guidance through the Curriculum areas and through our team of Personal Tutors.

Our full time Employability and Communities Officer provides advice and guidance on how to apply for apprenticeships and jobs as well as helping students to identify and obtain voluntary work placements as part of their current course, their LinC activity or just because they want to help and support the local community.

We also have a Senior Careers Adviser from Prospect Services in college every week offering students the opportunity to have an individual, independent careers advice and guidance interview – interviews can be booked through College Services. Careers visits – to universities and businesses – are arranged throughout the year through the curriculum and the tutorial programme.
