Coronavirus – Guidance for Staff and Students

A number of patients in England have now been tested positive for the Novel coronavirus (2019-nCov) strain of coronavirus. The UK Chief Medical Officer has assessed the current risk to the public in the UK as moderate.

If there is a confirmed case of Coronovirus at KEC, a risk assessment will be undertaken by the college with advice from the local Health Protection Team. In most cases, the closure of the college will be unnecessary but this will be a local decision taken in association with the Health Protection Team.
