King Edward VI College is easily accessible which is why many of our students travel from Coventry, Hinckley, Tamworth, Kingsbury and surrounding areas. Located in central Nuneaton the college is just 5 minutes walk from the bus and train station.

Travelling By Bus

Stagecoach and Arriva has a number of discounted ticket options available ranging from

College Bus

We are offering a College Bus from the Kingbury area. The cost of the service will be £580 (approx. £3 per day) to be paid in two instalments at the start of the autumn and spring term. If your household income is less than £27,500 per year then you may qualify for the Student Bursary. For more information please contact our Finance Office on 02476 328231.

Travelling by Car

Please note if you are travelling by car, site restrictions mean we are unable to provide student car parking facilities. Parking is also restricted around the side streets, and you are advised to park in a public car park.

If you are cycling to College, ensure you have a good quality, sturdy bike lock.

NUS Extra Card

For discounts on travel tickets, apply for an NUS Extra card by visiting www.nus.org.uk.

16-18 Photocard

If you are aged 16-18 and living in the West Midlands area, you can apply for a 16-18 photocard. Applicants must live within one of the areas of West Midlands County i.e. Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall or Wolverhampton. Submit your application online www.networkwestmidlands.com/16-18.

Financial Help

You may be eligible for our Student Bursary fund if you live more than two miles away from college and the family income is less than £27,500 a year.
